Jonathan Henderson
Jon Henderson is a partner with K&L Gates, working out of the firm’s Fort Worth and Dallas, Texas offices. He is a member of the Health Care and Corporate, Mergers & Acquisitions and Securities Practice Groups of the firm.
Jon has a dynamic health care and corporate practice assisting the firm’s clients in the varying transactional and regulatory issues they face.
He is a member of the American Bar Association (Health Law Section), State Bar of Texas (Business and Health Law Sections), Dallas Bar Association (Health Law and Merger and Acquisition Sections), Tarrant County Bar Association and the American Health Lawyers Association. He served as Chair of the Dallas Bar Association Health Law Section from 2006 to 2007.
Since 2006, Jon has served on the Institutional Review Board of Cook Children’s Health Care System. From 1994 through 2006, he served on the Institutional Review Board of The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth.
Jon was recently recognized on Nightingale’s Healthcare News’ 2007 list of “Outstanding Healthcare Transaction Lawyers.” In 2007, he was selected as one of the 40 Under 40 by the Fort Worth Business Press. Jon was chosen as a Texas Rising Star by Law & Politics Magazine and Texas Monthly in 2004, 2006 and 2007. He was selected as one of the Best Lawyers in Dallas Under 40 by D Magazine in 2006.
He is a frequent speaker and author on topics relating to health care transactional and regulatory issues.
Jon received his B.B.A. in Finance from Texas Christian University in 1989 and his J.D. from St. Mary’s University in 1992.
