 Linda Tarkowski, Pharm. D.
Clinical Pharmacists, BCBS of Texas
Linda Tarkowski joined Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX) in 2005 as a Clinical Pharmacist. In her current role, Dr. Tarkowski contributes to the development and expansion of the Texas-based Blue Rx Clinical Pharmacy ProgramsSM portfolio, which includes standard pharmacy benefit management tools as well as innovative programs that integrate pharmacy and medical claims data. She also participates in the clinical review and evaluation of new and existing drugs for formulary placement. Prior to BCBSTX, she worked as a Clinical Pharmacist at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina and as a Regional Pharmacy Director for CIGNA. Dr. Tarkowski received a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin- Madison and her doctorate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and The Health Science Center at San Antonio, Texas.
