Harold N. Iselin
Harold N. Iselin is a shareholder in the law firm Greenberg Traurig. He is a magna cum laude graduate of Wesleyan University (B.A., 1977) and graduated from Columbia University Law School (J.D., 1981), where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and an Editor of the Law Review. Mr. Iselin served as Law Clerk to Hon. Robert H. Bork, U.S. Court of Appeals, D.C. Circuit and was a trial attorney in the U.S. Department of Justice. From 1986-90, he served as an Assistant Counsel to the Governor of New York.
Mr. Iselin concentrates his practice in the areas of health care, government relations, and complex civil and administrative litigation. He is counsel to the New York Health Plan Association, which represents the majority of health plans in New York, and he provides strategic guidance and advice to numerous other health insurance clients. Mr. Iselin appeared before the U.S. Supreme Court in 1994 in New York State Conference of Blue Cross & Blue Shield Plans v. Travelers Ins. Co. and has spoken widely on issues of health care reform, ERISA preemption, Medicaid managed care, fraud and abuse, hospital reimbursement and health plan liability.
