 Jennifer Kowalski
Director, Avalere Health
Jennifer Kowalski is a Director in Avalere Health’s Health Reform Practice in Washington, DC. She focuses on Medicare Advantage policy and health insurance market reform. She provides strategic advice and analysis to help clients assess the impact of the recent health reform legislation and to inform their advocacy and business strategies. She regularly assists clients in analyzing the Medicare Advantage plan landscape and payment policies.
Prior to joining Avalere, Jennifer was an associate at The Lewin Group, where she focused on research and analysis of behavioral health and substance abuse treatment and conducted program evaluations of several national initiatives. Jennifer also previously worked at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center on the development of quality improvement initiatives and at the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality as part of the National Healthcare Quality Report team.
Jennifer holds an A.B. with honors in Community Health from Brown University and a M.S. in Health Policy and Management from the Harvard University School of Public Health.
