 Steve Rodgers
Chief Executive Officer, OptumHealth Collaborative Care
Steve Rodgers’ lifelong work has been in delivering health care benefits through strategic clinical management and IT innovations. He has been with UnitedHealth Group since 1999, serving as the chief operating officer of UnitedHealth Networks and the chief marketing officer of Uniprise.
Prior to this, Rodgers served as a health care executive to General Electric Company and a director of national accounts for John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance.
Rodgers’ background provides him with extensive knowledge of all aspects, good and bad, of the way people receive care. He joined OptumHealth in 2009 to develop the business plan for the new Collaborative Care division, whereby he collected a team of like-minded individuals who were as determined to invent meaningful solutions to the problems of health care delivery.
